African-American woman who models values for young women of color to show them they can succeed.
In addition to directing the program, Ms. Riley will teach a Medicare Claims Adjuster class, serve
as mentor to the young women, and be the liaison with the parents to inform them of their
student's progress, working with them to provide support in the home for the student, teaching
them strategies to help their student succeed, and providing appropriate community resources so
that they can be effective partners in their childŐs education.
